Patient Portal Instructions


Thank you for being a valued patient. Your path to wellness just got simpler!

We have upgraded our electronic health record software and now have a new, easy, and secure way for you to log in to the Patient Portal.

 

Below is a video and written instructions to help you register for your patient portal.


What You Need to Do

Step 1: Open Email

Note: It will come from HFAlerts@nextgen.com with subject: Activate YourHealthFile Patient Portal Account.

  1. Open email and click the registration link (Expires in 5 days).

Step 2: Account Setup

  1. Create a username and password.
  2. Select and answer a security question.
  3. Review and accept the user agreement.
  4. Click Update Account.

IT WILL THEN TAKE YOU BACK TO westcoastpodiatry.com where you can click on the Patient Portal button in the upper right hand corner.


Step 3: Patient Info

1. Click on the Patient Portal button on westcoastypodiatry.com in the upper right hand corner.

2. Login with your username and password you created in Step 2.

3. Proceed to fill out the Patient Info.


Step 4: Appointment Check In

1. Click on the Yellow Appointment Check in Box on the main page of the Patient Portal.

2. Fill out the various Check-in Steps.

IMPORTANT: Please fill out Step 3: What is the reason for your visit?

3. Click on the Complete Check in Process at the bottom (also accessible from the drop down at the top).


What You Can Do on Your Portal

  • Update your personal information
  • Review patient instructions
  • Check in to your appointments
  • Make online payments
  • Request medication refills
  • Securely communicate with your provider
  • Fill out information about your visit
